Safety Design

Co-founded a startup and owned the full product surface of a fully responsive B2B SaaS construction-management platform: Safety, Project Management, HR, Documents, and a Form Builder. Built a custom design system of 180 components and 1,000+ variations with a lean team of one engineer, one designer, and one intern.

Metaplex

Led Product & Design for the NFT standard on Solana. 15M NFTs minted and $3B in creator earnings ran through the standard I shaped.

Managed a team inventing novel ways to interact in VR/AR/MR: hands interaction, scrolling prototypes, Quest. Open-ended invention work with no playbook to copy.

Owned the redesign of Profile, the oldest surface on Facebook, across 2B+ daily users. My team worked closely with the design systems team as one of the first adopters of the new company-wide design system. Added Stories, Highlights, safety, and memorialization. Managed a team of 9 designers.

Designed AR effects and the partner AR platform for Nike, DC Comics, and GIPHY, and organized and led the first FB AR Summit. We designed the tooling other teams would build on.

Shipped a redesigned global navigation and unified the browse taxonomy across desktop, mobile, and all apps. The Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry taxonomy redesign was my call to match how people actually shop, and it doubled revenue (100% lift) in that category.

Overhauled navigation, checkout, and product pages; designed and shipped A&F and Hollister's first mobile sites; established the user research team. A&F's mobile site became the #1 most usable Fortune 500 ecommerce site.
